Intro to Multi-Pitch June 17&18

Feeling the call of longer routes, and bigger cliffs? Multi-pitch climbing requires an array of skills, from ascension to getting back down to moving efficiently. Join us for a weekend of multi-pitch skills practice where we will cover; anchor building, rope management, specific multi-pitch safety concerns, rappelling skills, multi-pitch efficiency, belaying from above, route finding skills, and gear considerations. 

For this course we do ask that participants have a resume of outdoor climbing, ideally having followed a few traditional rock climbs.

Rock Rescue Weekend  June 10&11

Getting out of trouble in the vertical world can be intimidating, but we’re here to help you build the skillset to handle adverse situations in the mountains. Our rock rescue weekend retreat is a perfect opportunity to work on more advanced rope skills under the supervision of guides and clean up the clutter. We will cover advanced knots and hitches, transferring the load, lowering skills, rappelling skills for the rescuer, rope ascension, escaping the belay, hauling systems and rescue communications. 

We do ask that participants in this course have a resume involving outdoor climbing, especially some base level multi-pitch routes.
