Mountains are no place for jokes and funny business… they’re hill areas! Ahahaha! Matt was drawn to the world of rock climbing after arriving at University in Fort Collins, CO from Chicago. Shortly after, he found not only a love for his own climbing goals and spending time in the mountain with dear friends, but also a passion for sharing his joy for climbing with others and taking them climbing, especially kids! He is very outgoing and smiley and excited to learn people’s story and what excites them about climbing!
Before joining the KMAC community, Matt had previously been instructing in the youth expedition world and assistant directing their program.
Outside of climbing, you can find Matt smiling, laughing, running, reading, playing his ukulele, or potentially at the farmers market buying local greens!
